I had the great honor and distinct privilege of addressing the annual training conference of the National Association of State Departments of Veterans Affairs (NASDVA) in Indianapolis. I focused my comments on helping arm the assembled professionals with facts and figures that they could take back to their states and leverage with their constituencies to overcome the many stereotypes and misnomers that get in the way of hiring our nation’s veterans. I look forward to returning to address this group during their mid-winter conference in February in Washington, DC.
